 I had to laugh at the description of the rabbits: 
Rabbits were brought to Ireland by the 
Anglo-Normans in the 12th century. They were 
kept in enclosures and used for good. There 
must have been some escapes because they ended 
up multiplying and there are now wild rabbits 
and domestic rabbits all throughout the island.
