Goodbye, Dingle!

We walked back into Dingle town to find a place for dinner. As usual...we were all starving. We had not had a meal since breakfast and the children were just snacking all afternoon. I took some pictures of the colorful town...it was so cute and pretty!
This store gets the award for the best name! LOVE it!

"A Cuppa Tea" in Gaelic! They were closed when we finally got there..oh well
We ate pub-grub for dinner at Murphy's Pub. My children have
been in way too many pubs in Ireland.

After dinner we walked around the town for a little while before we headed back to the B&B for the night. I had to stop and get some Calpol (Tylenol) for K because her head and back were really hurting her.

The next morning we had our yummy Irish breakfast. The cows were up to the fence right next to the breakfast room...so L was in heaven! She had to go outside for a little while to talk to the cows.

We got our luggage all into the car and started our drive to Cobh, but first we had to enjoy all the views on our drive out of Dingle. We will miss Dingle! I think Joe now definitely wants to come back here after hearing about our trip and seeing the pictures.

The drive to Cobh was about 3 hours if I remember correctly. We were on really small roads for awhile, then a highway, and then back on the small windy roads. T was starting to feel sick on the country roads so we had to pull off for a little while and let him walk around outside. We were about 10 minutes from Cobh when the Garmin informed us that we had to take the ferry over to the Great Island in the Cork harbor (where Cobh is located). WHAT!! Are you kidding me? I really wish the Garmin would inform you of this stuff before you start driving. Luckily its one of those quick car ferry rides. We waited about 5 minutes for the ferry to come and then we drove the car onto the ferry. By the time we paid our fee we were almost to the other side. We never got out of the car! So in the end it was all good and the Garmin did a good job!

We drove off the ferry and we arrived in Cobh about 10 minutes later. The blue sky greeted us and the sun was beaming!
