The Plane has Landed

Joe came a whole day early! It was predicted that a big snow storm was heading to the east coast on Wednesday. Joe's flight was scheduled to leave Thursday night and there was a pretty good chance it would get cancelled, so he called United and they put him on an earlier Wednesday evening flight. 
But…he had to go thru London because they don't fly direct to Dublin everyday. When I went to bed last night I started to worry if the London connection flight would get cancelled. Yesterday Ireland and the UK had horrible rain and wind storms. They had cancelled many flights out of London on Wednesday. 

I checked Joe's flight status out of Washington before I went to bed and I had to chuckle at this map. Its showing the plane leaving Washington and the radar with all the snow. Ha! Joe got out just as the snow was starting. This morning he arrived in London and made his connecting flight to Dublin. Yipee!! We were all excited to see Joe and L has not left his side. 

I'm very jealous of all the snow pictures that I am seeing on my Facebook page from the east coast. So I thought I would share with you my snow picture from our 10 minute blizzard yesterday!
