This past Saturday I went to see the broadway musical show, "Wicked" at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre in Dublin. The theatre is located on the Grand Canal Dock area. There were 10 of us girls that went to the show. We were all cousins except for one of the girls was a cousin-in-law. We are a huge family over here! T went over to one of my cousins house for a sleepover. Her husband watched T and their other three children for the night (what a trooper). Then my mother watched the two girls. I knew it would be easier if she just had to watch two of my children. K is a big help with L and would be able to put her to bed, etc. I got picked up around 2pm and did not get home until 12 hours later!

We all met up at the theatre for the show. The show was almost three hours long and it was great. The set was beautiful, gorgeous intricate costumes, talented actors, and an amazing live orchestra. It was a really fun show. There was one strange part in the show but the rest was excellent. After the show we went to The Asador for dinner. We all had an amazing three course meal. This is a picture of my steak. Yes! This really was my steak…it was amazing! They cook everything over a fire.
After dinner we headed over to Dylan's which is a hotel and the main floor is a huge bar. It was just a short walk from the restaurant. Remember I'm in Ireland…so the night never ends. It was a really nice bar. The building actually looks like it used to be an old house as there were many rooms in the bar.

We all had a great night of laughs, old stories, and drinks flowing until the wee hours in the morning. It will definitely be a night I'll remember of us all girls together. It was a wicked night!
This past Sunday K had a soccer game out in Gormanstown (in county Meath) and they tied 2-2. K scored one of the goals in the game and played most of the game. I am not quite sure why but they played with 11 players on the field as they usually play with 9. I will have to find out why. She was also asked last night if she would help out the U11 team for her club when they needed players on Sundays for games. She would only be helping out when it does not conflict with her U12 game. K plays up on the U12 team so there were only two players from her team that were eligible to help out the U11 team. K was excited on the ride home that she was going to be able to play for two teams for the Home Farm FC.
T had a much better week at school and is finally back on schedule. He started learning tin whistle at school and is enjoying it. L of course is happy as can be back at preschool. My mother is still waiting for letters from the doctors and a course of plan for therapy. She does have one eye appointment next week but that is it so far. I have tried to call the hospital a few times and honestly I just got no where - no one could give me any information, course of plan, or anything. She is still having headaches and not able to read, but we bought a big puzzle to do on the kitchen table and that seems to be distracting her from reading books.
Today we are having a very rainy and dreary day. Were just going to stay home and make a warm salmon dinner. I'm hoping tomorrow will be a little better so we can go into town.

Miss you!
