When Joe was here he did many things around the house for us:
1. He cut down some old metal poles in the back garden that were used for hanging clothes to dry. They were very old poles and we had new lines put in to dry the clothes. He then propped the poles up against the fence to keep the fence from falling. Were currently getting estimates to replace the fence. ;-) It literally is falling down.
2. He put together a little trampoline for the children. Its only 8 feet wide but it will help them expel energy and L will have something to do outside while the others are at school.
3. Joe cleaned up all the vines, weeds, etc along the fence and put three concrete pavers on the driveway to cover up where a post was taken out. You could always hear Joe working outside when he was here.
4. Then of course I told Joe I needed breaks from the daily routine and needed his help. Yes! Joe hung up the laundry for me. Thanks Joe for letting me post this picture!! As you can see the trampoline is finished.
I know I don't tell Joe enough but I really did appreciate all the work he did to help us out when he was here. I know it was hard at times with 6 of us in a tiny tiny house. But the children loved having Daddy around. He got to meet their friends, see their school, and just live their Irish routine.

Joe is such a perfectionist, I'm surprised he didn't color coordinate the clothes on the line!
