Our last day all together...

We had a wonderful last day all together as a family. We all went to mass and when we got home Joe made a yummy breakfast for all of us. I did some last minute packing, laundry, phone calls, etc.

Then we headed over to the C's house for our last big get together. It was so nice for all the adults and cousins to hang out for our last

night. We had a good ole American barbecue on the deck. Grandpa and Grandma C made us delicious hamburgers and hotdogs! We even had flag paper plates to go with the meal. After dinner we celebrated M's birthday

with lemon-lime cake. One of my favorite desserts! Yummy!

The cousins had decorated white bags and drew American flags on them. They were so cute and there was a bag for each of us filled with red, white, and blue goodies! It was so thoughtful and there was even a box of "lucky charms" cereal for the kids for breakfast tomorrow.

It was so hard to say good-bye and I'm going to miss everyone so terribly much. I hate good-byes but we will be home for Christmas! This year is really going to fly by and I know the children will have a wonderful year. Now I just have to hope and pray I can hold it together tomorrow when we have to say good-bye to Joe! Then the countdown will start to September 19 when Joe comes to Ireland for 10 days!
